Join us under the glittering stars of the night sky as we return to the Quarry Amphitheatre with a unique collection of contemporary works. Whether you find yourself rapt in the beauty of movement or discover deep meaning, there are few nights at the ballet as unique as this.

METAMORPHIS: (Australian premiere) David Dawson, one of the world’s leading choreographers, brings Perth his latest masterpiece Metamorphosis, a choreographic five-part work about hope, humanity and finding light in darkness.

New Creation: (World premiere) Rising star of British dance George Williamson presents an exciting new creation commissioned by West Australian Ballet.

Wonderers: (Australian premiere) George won the Genesis International Choreography Competition at Milwaukee Ballet with his new ensemble ballet, Wonderers.

After building a connection with West Australian Ballet over the last three Seasons, Polish choreographer Robert Bondara returns to create a new work on West Australian Ballet Dancers.

Carnivale.6
Artistic Director of Perth contemporary dance company, Co3, presents this exciting collaboration. Performed by Co3 and West Australian Ballet Dancers, Carnivale.6 is a unison work that generates a powerful internal community. Inspired by Spanish bullfighting and the ‘dancing plague’ of 1518, Raewyn Hill sets out to embody both a feeling of relentlessness and a communal experience.

New Creation
Choreographer and current Director of STRUT Dance (The National Choreographic Centre of WA) will create an exciting new work on our Dancers.
