Wave Rock and Golden Outback Tours
Western Australia's Golden Outback is surprisingly diverse region.
The dazzling natural landscape display of outback plains, huge deserts and salt lakes can be mind-blowing.
This region is also home to some of the whitest beaches in the world and of course Wave Rock. Rising 15 metres from the ground and more than 100 metres long, Wave Rock looks like a giant surf wave of multicoloured granite about to crash onto the bush below. It's believed this amazing formation was more than 2,700 million years in the making.
